Residential Service Notice: 12/1/2022
A modest price adjustment is necessary due to rising operating costs, in particular, the dramatic increase in insurance costs, and increased tipping fees at our disposal sites.

Registration Open for Sept. 17th Household Hazardous Waste Disposal & Electronics Recycling Event
Registration has begun for the Dutchess County Division of Solid Waste Management’s next Household Hazardous Waste Disposal & Electronics Recycling Event, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17th from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Dutchess County Department of Public Works.

We are currently experiencing extended wait times at the Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency (DCRRA), a waste-to-energy facility that combusts most of the refuse in the county.

DCRRA Rate Increase Notice
The Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency (DCRRA), a waste-to-energy facility that combusts most of the garbage that is collected by Royal Carting and Welsh Sanitation, has increased its disposal rate by 6.3%.
