Residential Service Notice: 12/1/2022
A modest price adjustment is necessary due to rising operating costs, in particular, the dramatic increase in insurance costs, and increased tipping fees at our disposal sites.
Service Delay: Thanksgiving 11/24
As a reminder, trash pick-up will be delayed in observance of Thanksgiving. Your pick-up will be one day later than the normally scheduled service on 11/24 & 11/25.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Throughout the month of October, Royal Carting Service Co. & Welsh Sanitation Service are highlighting and supporting five organizations that are helping to raise awareness and funds for those living with and affected by breast cancer.

Registration Open for Sept. 17th Household Hazardous Waste Disposal & Electronics Recycling Event
Registration has begun for the Dutchess County Division of Solid Waste Management’s next Household Hazardous Waste Disposal & Electronics Recycling Event, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17th from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Dutchess County Department of Public Works.
Unexpected Delays in Residential Service
We are currently experiencing extended wait times at the Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency (DCRRA), a waste-to-energy facility that combusts most of the refuse in the county.

As a reminder, trash pick-up will be delayed the week of May 30, 2022, in observance of Memorial Day.

DCRRA Rate Increase Notice
The Dutchess County Resource Recovery Agency (DCRRA), a waste-to-energy facility that combusts most of the garbage that is collected by Royal Carting and Welsh Sanitation, has increased its disposal rate by 6.3%.
